Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has congratulated the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe on his recent re-election as Prime Minister.
In his congratulatory note, the Prime Minister said he looks forward to developing the Fiji-Japan relations following the re-election of his Japanese counterpart.
Bainimarama said that he is expressing his warmest and most sincere congratulations on the appointment as Prime Minister of Japan, following the success of his political party, in the recent election for the House of Representatives in the Japanese Parliament.
Bainimarama said considering the great importance in maintaining the excellent relations that exist between the two countries, he is convinced that it will deepen further, to the mutual benefit of Fiji and Japan’s respective governments and people.
