PANG organises webinar to look at issues on how indigenous knowledge is being valued

In a bid to look at key issues associated with how indigenous knowledge is being valued, and how it needs to be protected in today’s digital world, the Pacific Network on Globalisation is organising a webinar based on the theme ‘Whose Digital Future: Writing the Digital Rules in the Pacific’ at 2pm tomorrow.

The other key issue that will be discussed in the webinar is how the value is derived in the digital world.

Some of the key speakers for this program will be the Executive Director of IT for Change Anita Gurumurthy, the Senior Legal Advisor of the Third World Network Sanya Reid Smith, Deputy Coordinator for Pacific Network on Globalisation Adam Wolfenden and the Team Leader of Culture for Development for the Pacific Community Dr.Frances Koya Vakauta.
