Over $30,000 of new look $100 bills recovered
More than $30,000 of the new look $100 bills have been recovered as the questioning of four people continues into their alleged involvement in the theft of $50,000.

The special task force team has so far managed to ascertain that there was an alleged security breach by a security officer whilst escorting the money from the central bank to the bank in question.

One of the suspects was yesterday arrested in Taveuni along with his wife with more than $12,000 new currency in their possession.

Another two security officers were arrested and found with a combined total of $17,400 new $100 bills found in their possession, while a third security officer was arrested in Nadi.

These notes have no monetary value therefore it is advisable to turn them in rather than trying to use them and end up getting caught on the wrong side of the law.
