$40,000 is the target to be fundraised by the old scholars of Assemblies of God School at a reunion celebration this weekend.
Chairman Vilimone Rokovada said the money is needed to fund some projects in the school which includes a new classroom for Forms One and Two students.
He said the two classes will officially come under the primary school from next year but is currently without a classroom.
More than 1,000 old scholars from overseas and locally will attend the three day event beginning on Thursday.
