Expect tight security during the 2025 Coca-Cola Games as more than 100 police officers will be deployed at the HFC Bank Stadium for the biggest secondary schools athletics competition in the world.

Director of Operations and Senior Superintendent of Police, Kasiano Vusonilawe says they have prepared a comprehensive security concept for the Games, especially since this year’s event is strictly drug-free.

SSP Vusonilawe says any student or individual found involved in criminal activities will face the legal process.

He says evidence will be properly documented and those involved will be taken to court.

He also highlighted that the police have been advising nightclub owners to comply with their licenses and not allow minors into their establishments.

He adds these minors are students who will become our future leaders.

The Coca-Cola Games will take place from this Thursday to Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
