Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Sakeo Raikaci says Fiji needs to improve its border control to ensure drugs are not trafficked through Fiji.
He says the country’s border controls are soft and they are working closely with the Fiji Navy on monitoring the maritime zone.
ACP Raikaci says from January to June, the Fiji Police Narcotics Bureau recorded less than 20 cases.
