Only 2 arrested for curfew breach in last 48 hours

Only two people were arrested for breaching curfew in the last 48 hours which is least number of arrests since the nationwide curfew came into effect.

Both arrests were alcohol-related.

Police say the only arrest recorded in the Central Division involved a 63-year-old man who was drunk and loitering along Rodwell Road in Suva.

The second arrest recorded last night was made in the Southern Division involving a 28-year-old construction worker who was found drunk and walking around in Narere
