A one year old boy has died after an unfortunate accident at Chameli Street in Lautoka.
The toddler was allegedly hit by a car driven 43-year-old man.
When questioned on whether the boy was with an adult, Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says according to their initial findings he had wandered off from his home.
The child was rushed to the Lautoka Hospital where he passed away last night.
The driver is currently being questioned at the Lautoka Police Station.
Naisoro says the parents of the one year old boy will be questioned as well.
