"We should start thinking as a team, as one nation, then we can achieve our true potential"
These were the comments of Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama during the opening of the new classrooms in Yasawa HighSchool.
Bainimarama raised his disappointment on the recent comments based on race made by Verata chief, Ratu Timoci Vesikula.
Bainimarama said this comment is fundamentally wrong as we are all equal no matter where we come from.
He also stressed to people not to embrace the old ways of thinking as this mentality has held Fiji back.
The Prime Minister said all Fijians have the same chance to get on in life.
