One person missing after early morning collision between two vessels near Nabouwalu Jetty
Search attempts conducted to find the missing person after an inter-island passenger vessel collided with a wooden fishing boat.
One person is still missing after an inter-island passenger vessel collided with a wooden fishing boat about 5 kilometres away from the Nabouwalu Jetty early this morning.
Three other men who were in the wooden fishing boat were rescued.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says they have a team in Nabouwalu at the moment searching for the missing person.
She says they received information about the incident from a passenger on board the inter-island vessel.
