Oliver Dyer crowned as Friendly North Festival King

Oliver Simon Dyer has been crowned as the 2024 Vodafone Friendly North King last night.

Dyer was sponsored by Mr Shah's Amusement and among the two other contestants who were competing for the King title in the Festival this year.

He says after being crowned as the King it is the happiest day of his life and very much excited and proud of his achievement.

Vodafone Friendly North King says he aims to help the people of the North by advocating on the theme ‘Livestock Farming And Animal Welfare’ as many youths are moving away the practice of farming.

20-year-old says he wants to come with projects where he can help people understand the importance of animal welfare and how to keep them safe from dangers.

Mr Drivesmart Pte Limited, Ratu Alive Rokoyaluma was the first runner-up.

The Miss Friendly North 2024 crowning will be at 9pm at Subrail Park, Labasa.
