Officials from the Commissioner Central’s Office met the owner of the house in Vunivivi, Nausori this morning that sustained major damages during Tropical Cyclone Sarai.
The roof was blown away by strong winds and walls were also damaged causing the family to move to an evacuation centre.
Apisalome Delaibatiki says he was told fill a form and the officials also did an assessment on the damages.
Delaibatiki says he has been advised by the Commissioner Central’s Office that they will be providing him assistance.
Delaibatiki, his wife and daughter are currently staying at their neighbours house.
