The Fiji Airways Fijian 7s Development team managed to hold back a strong Australian Development team, defeating them 19-10 during the quarter-finals of the Oceania 7s tournament held in Honiara.
Fiji was tested throughout the game as Australia attacked Fiji’s line with most of the possession favoring them throughout the game.
Fiji displayed composer in the second half and forced the Australians to make errors with some hard tackles, denying them possession and the win.
Fiji will now shift their focus to the semi finals where they will face Tuvalu at 4.52 this afternoon.
