Thousands of residents in Labasa are raising concerns after they have not received water supply for the past two days while the Water Authority of Fiji says this is caused by numerous bursts along a pipe in Vunikawakawa, Labasa and supply is expected to normalize by 6am tomorrow.

Qelewaqa resident Sunil Narayan says they are facing a lot of problems due to this.

WAF says work has been completed on these bursts.

The affected areas include Siberia, Vunivau, Vunika, Basoga, Mani Road, Low Cost Area, Bulileka, Navakasigani, Nabekavu, Rara, Korowiri Road to Totovata Road, Nabuna and nearby areas.

Water carting trucks have been deployed to the affected areas.
