No tsunami threat to Fiji as 3.4 magnitude quake recorded 26 km from Suva

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded at a shallow depth and 26 kilometres South from Suva.

The event was felt between the Suva to Nausori corridor.

The Mineral Resources Department says however, this does not pose any immediate tsunami threat to the region.
