No timeline on when water supply will be restored for Suva to Nausori residents - WAF

Thousands of Fijians living between Suva to Nausori are currently facing water supply disruption, the Water Authority of Fiji has yet to confirm when supply will normalise.

This comes after WAF encountered a fault on one of the five Raw Water Pumps affecting clear water well at the Waila Water Treatment Plant.

This is for residents in areas of Nakasi, Davuilevu Housing, Makoi, Nepani, Navosai, Narere, Koronivia Road, Koronivia School, upper Makoi, Kaliveitau, Nagatugatu, Veitata, Tovata Road, Qaranivalu, Lomalagi, Vula, Poorva, Sabera, Peela, Caubati Koro, Daniva, Cunningham (Valley Drive and Sulua Street), Niubalavu, Raikiwai, Niuvula, Niusawa Lane, Tacirua East (Tasman Tank), Cunningham, Khalsa Road, Low Pressure to No Water all feeding from Kalabu Reservoir - Valelevu, Caqiri, Nawanawa, Koka, Kinoya Road, Vasant Lal, Vesivesi and Yasiyasi.

WAF says they have water carting trucks on standby and people can call their toll free number on 1507.
