No person has been arrested or charged in relation to the death of doctor and prominent social media personality, Dr Isireli Biumaitotoya, also known as Leighley Leli Darling.

We have sent questions to the police to ask whether they have questioned anyone in relation to the death.

Police says the media report stating that a suspect had been arrested is not factual, as no such official confirmation was issued.

They say investigators continue to obtain necessary statements, and are gathering information that will assist in determining the circumstances leading up to his death.

Leli Darling was found dead in a pool of blood in his home in Votualevu, Nadi, on Monday night and the death is being treated as an alleged murder.

Police have located his vehicle after verifying information provided during the initial stages of the investigation.

Police had earlier said that investigators are also following up on social media posts made by the victim before his death.

They are pursuing the posts as leads with regard to the circumstances surrounding his death.

Leli Darling was found motionless in his home by a workmate who lodged the report after he failed to turn up for work, and was unresponsive to her repeated calls, and had stated that his vehicle was missing.

Investigations continue.
