High Court Judge, Justice Vincent Perera has asked state counsel Taitusi Tuenuku to provide a written response on why he is not objecting to the bail application of a 48-year-old man charged with the rape of a seven-year-old girl.
Tuenuku has asked the court to impose strict bail conditions however he is not objecting to the bail application.
It is alleged that the man had raped his brother-in-law’s seven-year-old daughter on August 29th this year in Nausori.
The case has been adjourned to November 21st.
