The Land Transport Authority has highlighted that there have been no discussions on the proposed increase in fares for minibus operators.
This comes as concerns have been raised that minibus operators are now charging passengers $2.50 from Lautoka to Ba. The fare used to be $2.
Fijivillage has noticed that after 10pm, minibus drivers are charging passengers $2 which is an increase from $1.50 from Suva to Nausori.
When questioned by Fijivillage on minibus fares, LTA has said that it will respond later today.
