No decision yet on Kepa’s declaration
The Registrar of Political Parties, Mohammed Saneem

The Registrar of Political Parties, Mohammed Saneem said he cannot say anything yet on Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum’s comments about the declaration of properties made by Opposition Leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa.

Saneem said he is not aware of what Sayed-Khaiyum has said and will check on this matter later.

Sayed-Khaiyum has raised the question on how Ro Teimumu has provided three different values in the declarations that she has made for her 10 Denison Road property.

According to the declarations sighted by Fijivillage, Ro Teimumu provided a signed declaration stating that her Denison Road property was valued at $250,000 in May 2013.

On the 20th of August, 2014 she provided a declaration stating that the same property was valued at $650,000.

On the 20th of February this year, Ro Teimumu declared that the property was valued at $168,000.

We have sent questions to Ro Teimumu.

Principal Administrative Officer at the Opposition Office, Mick Beddoes said she is away overseas for a meeting and will respond to this issue when she returns to the country.
