No charges yet in robbery of Virgin Australia crew member

Police have yet to charge anyone in relation to the robbery of a Virgin Australia crew member in the early hours of New Year’s Day near a nightclub in Martintar, Nadi.

Police say a few people have been questioned over the incident.

Meanwhile, 24-year-old farmer, Ilaisa Tanoa who allegedly raped and sexually assaulted another Virgin Australia crew member has been remanded in custody by the Nadi Magistrates Court.

He is charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of rape.

The matter has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court and will be called on the 20th of January.
