No charges laid by police yet in case of businessman being allegedly found with meth

No charges have been laid yet by Police in the case where a businessman was arrested after being allegedly found with crystal-like substances believed to be methamphetamine and dried leaves believed to be marijuana last Thursday.

The discovery was made in the man’s vehicle by officers from Fiji Detector Dog Unit along Sonaisali Road in Nadi.

A second search conducted at his home resulted in the discovery of more substances believed to be drugs.

Police also seized syringes containing clear liquid believed to be illicit substances.

Investigations continue.
