Suva High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo has acquitted Kelevi Tokalau after finding him not guilty of one count of manslaughter.

It was alleged that Tokalau punched 22‑year‑old Saula Sucu in Suva causing his death in 2015.

Justice Temo said in his judgement that the prosecution witnesses stated during the trial that they saw a bouncer punching Sucu however they did not identify the accused.

Justice Temo also said that the video footage that was produced as evidence did not show Tokalau punching Sucu.

Sucu was found dead outside a nightclub in Suva on the 26th of April, 2015.
