Over 20 kindergarten students feel blessed to have a new Kindergarten building in Naweni Village in Cakaudrove, Vanualevu.
The new kindergarten is part of the Naweni District School which was part of the rebuilding programme that Fulton Hogan Hiways had adopted after cyclone Winston.
The school serves two villages of Naweni and Dromuninuku including eight other settlements.
The Naweni school was one of the four schools in the Cakaudrove Province that was declared a Category C, for sustaining structural damage and considered not safe after TC Winston.
Naweni Villager Karolina Naiqama says that they are grateful to Fulton Hogan Hiways and other donors for giving them a new building.
Naiqama adds that it was worth the long wait to have the building which is a beautiful addition to the Naweni District School.
Other projects that Fulton Hogan Hiways is involved in include a community hall for Vi-vili Village and a kindergarten building for Naweni Village.
