Two of the RFMF’s top rugby league units, the Navy Albatross and the Army Bears, are joining forces to represent the RFMF Rugby League side in this month’s Ratu Sukuna Bowl Rugby League competition.

Head Coach Sevanaia Koroi, who is a veteran rugby league player, says preparations are well underway as both units unite to represent the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.

Koroi says the Navy Albatross are also preparing for the upcoming Fijian Cup 9s, training alongside the Rise Rookies to enhance fitness, speed, and teamwork ahead of the tournament.

He adds that the joint training sessions are helping players gain valuable exposure and build connections between the development program and the senior team.

Koroi highlights the importance of discipline, unity, and commitment as the RFMF Rugby League squad continues its focused build-up toward both major competitions.

The Ratu Sukuna Bowl rugby league competition will be held on the 17th and 18th of this month.

Meanwhile, the Ratu Sukuna Bowl Rugby Challenge will take place on the 22nd of this month at Subrail Park in Labasa.
