Navua secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Tavua in Round 16 of the Extra Premier League at Garvey Park, Tavua, moving into fourth place on the table.
Navua struck first with Simione Damuni scoring a goal, giving them a 1-0 advantage at halftime.
They extended their lead in the second half with a goal from Filipe Baravilala.
Tavua fought back with a goal from Esala Raloka, but couldn’t break through Navua's defence.
In other results, Nasinu beat Nadroga 6-3 at Uprising, while Lautoka defeated Ba 2-1 at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
