About 150 residents living along Nakorovu Road in Wainibuku have been without water for three days due to a burst main line.

Resident Arneel Prasad says they were initially informed that the water supply would be restored by yesterday afternoon, but the situation remains unchanged.

Prasad says it is the second day of the new school term, and his children are unable to go to school because of the water issue.

He is calling on the Water Authority of Fiji to provide a clear timeline for when the water supply will be restored.

WAF says their teams are working to restore supply to affected areas.

They have not provided a timeline on when residents can expect water in their taps.
