Olympic bronze medalist and Fijiana 7s captain Rusila Nagasau says having the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games postponed was a blessing as she was still recovering from a knee injury.
Speaking to Fiji Rugby, the 34-year-old says getting back into shape after recovery was a challenge as she had to forgo some of the food she loved.
She says she was inspired to play rugby by watching her uncle and former Fiji 7s player Manasa Bari.
Nagasau adds rugby has enabled her to travel the world.
The Fijiana 7s and the rest of Team Fiji are currently in their 14-day quarantine and all have tested negative during their 4th day of testing.
