The province of Nadroga/Navosa is the first to launch the One Man, One Tree, One day tree planting program.
Minister for Forestry Osea Naiqamu has commended the village elders for sharing Government’s vision in sustaining Fiji’s natural forest reserve from the effects of climate change.
33 villages within the five districts in the province are part of this program.
Fiji has collectively planted 1million trees and mangrove within a period of 10 months this year.
