With stellar performances in the opening two rounds of the Super Rugby Aotearoa, Blues rookie Hoskins Sotutu has caught the eye of many including former Flying Fijian Nemani Nadolo who says he is afraid Fiji may miss out on him.

Sotutu is the son of former Flying Fijian and Auckland wing Waisake Sotutu and is eligible to play for Fiji should he opt to do so. Waisake Sotutu played for Auckland from 1991 to 1997.

Hoskins Sotutu’s performance against the Chiefs last week has left Nadolo worried.

Nadolo posted on his Official Twitter page that Sotutu is a freak of a player and a future All Black and that he is afraid Fiji may miss out on him.

Sotutu’s rise in 2020 has been rather out of the blue, having surprisingly taken over Akira Ioane’s starting spot who had been an established Super Rugby star.

The Blues will take on the Highlanders at 7.05pm this Saturday while the Crusaders will host the Chiefs at 3.35pm Sunday.
