Nadi woman charged by Police Cybercrime Unit will appear in court today

A 40-year-old Nadi woman has been charged by the Fiji Police Cybercrime Unit after consultation with the Office of the Director Public Prosecutions (ODPP).

Police say she has been charged with two counts of causing harm by posting electronic communication under the Online Safety Act and two counts of insulting any person under the Crimes Act.

The woman is in police custody and will appear at the Suva Magistrates Court today.
