Nadi to defend Skipper Cup against Yasawa in round 1

Skipper Cup defending champion Nadi is focused on retaining the Championship this year as the Round 1 of the 2023 Skipper Cup Championship begins today.

A total of 8 teams will be participating in this year's competition along with over 300 players to showcase their talents as the games progress through this year.

Nadi has called in former Rio Olympic gold medalist Savenaca Rawaca to boost their backline while robust loose man and team captain Ilisoni Galala is back to lead the team after spending time playing rugby in Georgia.

Nadi will be facing Yasawa at Prince Charles Park at 3pm, Suva plays Nadroga at the HFC Stadium at 3pm, Macuata will go up against Naitasiri at Subrail Park at 3pm and Tailevu to face Namosi at Ratu Cakobau Park today at 3pm.
