Hotels are almost fully booked in Nadi as fans, friends, and families prepare to honour the late George “Fiji” Veikoso at the 2025 Homecoming Concert next week.

Speaking to fijivillage News today, Nadi Chamber of Commerce President Lawrence Kumar says the town is already seeing signs of another tourism surge with accommodation nearly booked out, echoing scenes from last year’s Homecoming Concert, where visitors spilled over into Lautoka due to high demand for rooms.

Kumar says last year, every hotel room, Airbnb, and other accommodation was booked out.

He adds that room occupancy in Nadi for next week is already high, with local business houses reporting strong sales projections.

Homecoming 2025 is locked and loaded with 40 artists expected to perform next Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The show will be headlined by Maoli, J Boog, Spawnbreezie and Common Kings.

The lineup includes artists like Aaradhna, Sammy Johnson, Sons of Zion, Lomez Brown, Fejoint, Irie Love, Billy T, Ratu, Nicky, Swiss, Tree, Steve Macomber, Justin Wellington, The Gang, House of Shem, Etu, Black Rose Reunion, Finn Gruva, Tomorrow People, KKU, Rootstrata, Kabani, Ciwa ft. Asinate, Bula Groove ft. Steve and Di Tui.
