Nadi River water level continues to recede

The water level in the Nadi River continues to recede this morning.

The high tide was at 6.21am however Nadi police confirmed that this did not push the levels. 

Rain has also eased in the Western division.

The Nadi Weather office confirmed that Nadi received around 200 millimeters of rain in the last 24 hours. 

An active trough of low pressure remains over Fiji and is gradually moving eastwards. 

Associated rain and strong winds are expected to affect the group till midday today.
