Prominent radio announcer Paula 'Roks' Nabuta who was charged with being in possession of illicit drugs has been acquitted by Suva High Court Judge, Justice Salesi Temo while another man charged in the case will be sentenced this Friday.

DPP Lawyer, Zenith Zunaid filed for proceedings against Nabuta to be terminated.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Joji Kaitani pleaded guilty to 2 charges of being in possession of illicit drugs.

He was found with 54 wrappings of marijuana in a rental vehicle.

After convicting Kaitani, Justice Temo says he will have to send Kaitani to jail but there is an element of honesty in him as he pleaded guilty and cooperated with police and Kaitani has to keep that honesty as it will take him ahead.
