Nabuka dedicates gold medal to his proud father

14-year-old Josefa Nabuka of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School has dedicated his gold medal to his father who came from Naividamu Village in Macuata to support him during the Coca-Cola Suva Zone 2 competition.

The Year 9 student says winning the 800 metre sub-junior boys title has made his family proud as this is his first medal.

He aims to win a gold medal in the upcoming Coca-Cola Games.

Meanwhile, CMF College still leads the boys division with 4 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals, Namosi Secondary School is in second place with 3 gold and 2 silver and MGM is in third position with 2 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals.

MGM is still leading the girls division with 11 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze, Ratu Sukuna Memorial School in second place with 3 gold and 1 silver while Ballantine Memorial School is in third place with 1 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals.
