NZ beats South Korea to claim first ever win in men’s football at the Olympics

The New Zealand soccer team has claimed their first ever win in men's football at the Olympic Games with a 1-0 victory over South Korea last night.

Burnley striker Chris Wood scored the winning goal for the All Whites.

In another upset, Australia shocked Argentina 2-0 on the opening day.

Defending champions Brazil started off their campaign in winning style after beating Germany 4-2.

Everton striker Richarlison scored a hat-trick for Brazil.

In other matches, Mexico thrashed France 4-1, Japan beat South Africa 1-0 while Spain and Egypt played out a 0-0 draw.
