NZ and Australia suffer defeat in Olympics men’s soccer

New Zealand has been beaten 3-2 by Honduras in their second match in men's football at the Olympic Games.

Burnley striker Chris Wood who scored the winner against South Korea in the first match was on target again for the All Whites.

Australia has also suffered defeat in their second match after going down 1-0 against star studded Spain.

Spain has the services of a number of players who recently represented the country in the EURO 2020.

Captain Mikel Oyarzabal scored the only goal of the match in the 80th minute.

In other matches, France beat South Africa 4-3, Germany beat Saudi Arabia 3-2, Argentina beat Egypt 1-0 while defending champions Brazil and Ivory Coast played out a 0-0 draw.
