NZ PM to meet Ratu Tevita Mara
New Zealand government officials are looking at how and when former members and supporters of the Fiji government will be removed from the banned list and allowed to travel to New Zealand.

The issue was raised after fugitive Tevita Mara was awarded an exemption to allow him into New Zealand for two days this week.

Colonel Mara will remain on the banned list after his departure despite being removed from Australia's list.

New Zealand Prime Minister John Key said he will meet personally with Mara while he is in New Zealand but he has stated that his visit does not mean he will be allowed to re enter New Zealand at a later date.
