Former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase said that the General Elections in New Zealand which was successfully won by the National Party leader John Key are a clear indication of the democratic process.
Qarase said this should pave a way for the interim government as the Rule of Law must be upheld in Fiji.
The sentiments were also shared by National Party leader, Mick who said that this is another clear indication of what the people want and how democracy prevail.
Meanwhile, Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry said Fiji will have to wait and see the new policies that will be brought in place.
The National Federation Party, general Secretary Pramod Rae said that Fiji will have to wait and see whether there will be any policy changes that may affect the nation.
