The National Federation Party has confirmed that they now have 5,000 member signatures as required by the new political party's decree.
This is according to the president of NFP Raman Pratap Singh who said they will now be lodging their application on Wednesday to register as a political party.
Singh added that following yesterday's party meeting and in accordance with the decree, unionists within the party no longer hold official positions.
He confirmed that Pramod Rae is no longer the General Secretary of NFP and has since been replaced by Vishwa Nandan.
The new appointments also made include Mohammed Rafiq as the new vice president.
According to Singh arrangements are also being made to open up all NFP offices in the four divisions.
