The National Fire Authority is now investigating the cause of the fire in the Tavakubu industrial area in Lautoka.

NFA CEO John O’Connor says the fire started from the Lautoka Upholstery Warehouse.

The warehouse is destroyed.

Fire fighters managed to control the fire from spreading to other nearby buildings in the industrial area.

O’Connor says they received a call at about 10 o’clock this morning and when the fire firefighters arrived at the scene, the building was fully engulfed in flames.
