NBA looking at Florida's Disney World Resort as the site to resume season
LeBron James' LA Lakers are currently top of the NBA Western Conference

The NBA is in talks to resume the season at Florida's Disney World Resort in late July.

The season was put on hold on the 11th of March because of the coronavirus pandemic.

BBC reports that the NBA is hoping to use Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex as the site for games, practices, and housing.

According to NBA spokesperson Mike Bass, the league is engaged in exploratory conversations with the National Basketball Players Association and the resort.

Bass says their priority continues to be the health and safety of all those involved, and they are working with public health experts and government officials on a comprehensive set of guidelines to ensure that appropriate medical protocols and protections are in place.

The regular season is yet to be completed with the Milwaukee Bucks currently leading the Eastern Conference while Los Angeles Lakers are top of the Western Conference.
