Murray back from suspension, Nawai recalled to replace injured Lomani

Hard-running young Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flanker Motikiai Murray has forced his way back into the match day 23 squad that will take on the Waratahs in round 10 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific this weekend.

Murray was suspended for 3 weeks after being found guilty of committing a dangerous tackle in contravention of Law 9.13 in their round 6 clash against the Brumbies.

He has been named to start at openside flanker.

Also, another familiar name that has been recalled into the squad is Taranaki halfback Leone Nawai who has been called in to replace the injured Frank Lomani.

Nawai has been named to start off the bench.

Meanwhile, Peni Ravai, Mesulame Dolokoto, and Mesulame Doge will start in the front row, Isoa Nasilasila will partner Ratu Leone Rotuisolia at locks, Etonia Waqa will pair up with Murray on the flanks, and Elia Canakaivata will start again at number 8.

Simione Kuruvoli will once again team up with Isaiah Armstrong Ravula in the halves, Ponipate Loganimasi will be on the wings with Taniela Rakuro, while Tuidraki Samusamuvodre and Masi will partner up in the centres.

Isikeli Rabitu will start at fullback.

In the reserves, Zuriel Togiatama, Emosi Tuqiri, Samuela Tawake, Vilive Miramira, and Isoa Tuwai will cover the forwards while Nawai, Kemu Valetini and Inia Tabuavou will cover the backs.

The Drua will take the Waratahs at 2.05pm Saturday in Churchill Park, Lautoka.
