Mother and daughter who were struck with cane knife transferred to CWM Hospital

It is alleged that the woman’s 45 year old husband struck his wife and daughter with a cane knife.

The woman and her 14-year-old daughter who sustained serious injuries in a knifing incident in Kuku, Bau Road in Nausori this morning have been transferred to the CWM Hospital.

It is alleged that the woman’s 45 year old husband struck his wife and daughter with a cane knife.

The man remains in police custody.

Police say the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident is unknown at this stage.
