More than 800 students from 12 schools expected to benefit from the UniFiji Open Day

More than 800 students from 12 different schools from the Central Division are expected to benefit from the University of Fiji Open Day at the Samabula Campus today.

Head of Campus and Academic Development Officer Nikhat says the Open Day will benefit students to make the right decisions in their career path and give them an opportunity to make decisions on what programs students want to do.

She says this will also help students to get exposure and learn about the different programs provided at the University and the requirements needed.

Nikhat says there are around 9 programs provided at the University including the School of Business and Economics, School of Humanities and Arts, School of Science and Technology and Centre for iTaukei Studies.

Meanwhile, Natasha Jotishma Devi a teacher of Rampur College says 48 Year 13 students have come for the Open Day.

She says these students will get to know about the programs provided by the University and make a decision on their career.

Devi also advises all the students to be part of the Open Day and benefit from the information that is provided by the University.

UniFiji Saweni Campus will host their Open Day on Friday.
