More than 20 donors come forward to give blood at Farmer’s Daughter in Suva

More than 20 good Samaritans came forward to give blood at the Farmer’s Daughter along Knollys Street in Suva, responding to the urgent need for blood at CWM Hospital.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Nurse Blood Services representative Wame Dokonivalu says they have so far collected approximately 16 to 17 pints of blood.

Dokonivalu also says other business organizations, such as Sai Prema, Day-Tech, and Goodman Fielder, have come forward to assist with blood drives, encouraging their employees to donate blood.

Dokonivalu is urging the public to show compassion and donate blood to help those in need.
