More details released about man who died after being allegedly electrocuted

More details have now been released by Energy Fiji Limited about the 26-year-old man who lost his life on Sunday after being allegedly electrocuted.

Preliminary investigations by Energy Fiji Limited have revealed that the man was operating a water blaster when the damaged power cable came into contact with the metal frame of the water blaster.

He was electrocuted when he touched the metal nozzle of the water blaster trigger gun and got electrocuted.

Energy Fiji Limited says people should check their electrical appliances on a regular basis, for deterioration of its electrical cord or extension cords.
