Ministry tries to ascertain amount of idle agricultural land
The Prime Minister's office and the Lands Ministry are now trying to ascertain the amount of agricultural land which is lying idle and can be utilized for improving the economy.

A member of the Strategic Framework for Change and Coordination Unit in the Prime Minister's office, Adi Finau Tabakaucoro said this is part of the land reform being carried out by the government.

According to Adi Finau the divisional commissioners in the Western and Northern Division are compiling a report which will soon be handed to the Permanent Secretary for Lands.
