Ministry of Housing employee charged by FICAC granted bail

A senior technical officer with the Ministry of Housing and Community Development who allegedly accepted an advantage of $100 has been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.

Joji Waqamailau allegedly committed the offence in Suva on the 30th of September this year.

He is charged with one count of soliciting and accepting an advantage.

FICAC had no objections to bail.

He has been released on a $500 non cash bail bond.
